GOAL: Create a community where hairstylists can support each other, share knowledge, grow professionally and stay inspired in a positive environment.
VISION: To empower each member by fostering creativity, professional development and personal growth within a safe, uplifting space

STRUCTURE & MEETINGS
FREQUENCY: Bi-weekly meetings to maintain momentum while giving enough time to members to implement ideas. The meetings will take place every other Monday mornings at 10am, located at Cheri Marie Salon + Suites. 277 Alexander St #100 Rochester NY 14607.
DURATION: 60-90 minutes per session to allow for discussion without overwhelming schedules.

FORMAT
OPENING (5-10 MINUTES): Introductions of new members followed by a positive check-in to share wins and highlights of the last meeting.
MAIN DISCUSSION (40-60 minutes): Focus on central theme, challenge, or strategy. Each member takes turns sharing experiences, challenges and goals.
FEEDBACK & SUPPORT: Group offers constructive feedback, advice and encouragement. Each member gets actionable takeaways.
CLOSING (5 MINUTES): Set goals for next session, ensuring accountability and a plan for growth.
OPTIONAL: Member can ask to have the hot seat for the next session. Hot seat will be given most of the time to discuss a major success or something that needs more attention/guidance.

RESPECT & SUPPORT: Every member’s opinion, experiences and challenges are valuable. Be an active listener, offer encouragement, not criticism.
GROWTH MINDSET: Approach every challenge as an opportunity to learn. Emphasize the importance of growth over perfection.
CONFIDENTIALITY: What is shared in the mastermind stays in the mastermind. Trust is essential to create a safe place for vulnerability.
CELEBRATE WINS: Start each meeting with positive energy by sharing success- big or small- allowing everyone to uplift and inspire each other.
COLLABORATIVE, NOT COMPETITIVE: Focus on lifting each other up. This is a space to help others improve, not compete with one other.

ACCOUNTABILITY & GOALS
GOAL SETTING: Each member sets short-term and long-term professional goals at the end of each session. Goals can be shared for the group for accountability.
FOLLOW-UP: Start each session with a review of previous sessions goals to celebrate progress and discuss obstacles.
INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNTABILITY PARTNERS: Members will draw a name for support and check-ins in-between meetings.
ENCOURAGEMENT OF DIVERSITY & INCLUSION: Foster a group of different hairstylists from different backgrounds, experiences and specialties to offer a wide range of perspectives. Ensure that all voices are heard and respected. Creating a truly inclusive environment.
REFRAME: During the meeting, if someone is sharing an experience that maybe difficult or emotionally charged and it is turning negative. The faciliatory may ask the speaker to pause and reframe to make sure it is staying respectful to everyone involved in the situation.

We have 10 seats available for our mastermind. We may add more in the future! We want to make sure we have a mix of new & experienced stylists, with a wide range of specialties to ensure everyone will benefit from this group. Looking forward to working with you!
